Switzerland honors the Ethereum founders

The Swiss authorities and the Canton and City of Zug are honoring the founders of Ethereum for their contributions to the Swiss and global economy. All Ethereum founders will be thanked for their transformative impact.

They will also receive prestigious awards from the Canton and City of Zug. The Swiss government, represented by Mrs. Karin Keller-Sutter, Vice-President of the Federal Council and Finance Minister, will take part in the event with a video statement.

The Ethereum founders will be honored during Crypto Valley’s biggest blockchain celebration of the year! Step into the birthplace of Ethereum in Zug, Switzerland, on October 2nd and join us for the grand celebration of Ethereum's 10-year anniversary!

Zug made history in 2014 when the Ethereum founders set up shop in the small Swiss town, and Crypto Valley was born. Ten years later, with almost 1300 blockchain companies and 13 unicorns, Crypto Valley is officially the world’s #1 blockchain hub.

As Stadt Zug puts it: Without Ethereum, there would be no Crypto Valley. That’s why we're celebrating!

Celebrating a decade of Ethereum

ETH10X celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Zug-based Ethereum Foundation by inviting the Ethereum founders to the stage. The Swiss authorities and the Canton and City of Zug will thank all Ethereum founders for their transformative impact on the city and the global economy. They will also receive prestigious awards from the Canton and City of Zug.

But the celebration doesn't stop there! Following the awards ceremony, join the founders in celebrating this milestone with an awesome party! We’re talking DJs, good music, and an open bar until late.

ETH10X is hosted by the Canton of Zug, Stadt Zug, the Swiss Blockchain Federation, CV VC, CV Labs, Bitcoin Suisse,  MME, Zuger Kantonalbank, and Safe.
